Spears – Both appear on camera and their investigation into Spears’ story is dramatized with images clicking into secret files or transitioning through documents. Eliscu in particular has a strong emotional connection to Spears’ case, though. Yet often the relationship between Carr and Eliscu is so focused on the thrill of discovery that it is invisible to the humans they are trying to help through their work but in making themselves the main characters of the story. The two reporters ended up highlighting how little new information they received. It is perhaps unfair that even though they started working on this project many years ago, They were defeated with a punch by the New York Times’ “Framing Britney Spears.”
