Manchester By The Sea tells the story of the Chandler family. A working-class family from Massachusetts where Lee’s (Kyle Chandler) brother Joe (Casey Affleck) unexpectedly leaves this world. So he’s bound to take care of his nephew (Lucas Hedges), and Lee is faced with an old tragedy left by his former wife Randy (Michelle Williams). and the community in which he was born and raised Filmed in North Shore, Massachusetts, the Chandler family is a working class family from Massachusetts.
