After an altercation between the two school buses The DJ’s father and Rodney’s grandmother have come up with a clever solution to take the kids. Come closer together than both of them want. Living in Canaan Texas in the 1960s didn’t make it easy for black boys and white boys to make friendships. It is only in the midst of an unforgettable Christmas wonderland that DJ and Rodney discover the land of milk and honey where hope and love make all the difference.
